WHO IS FVXO A deep love for travel serves as his main source of inspiration. The artist shapes sounds and creates fashion that cross borders and culture. His journey includes collaborations with independent record labels such as Underground Sun (Los Angeles), Curve/Universal (Toronto), and Sound of Pop (Halifax, NS), more recently events with Afrofloat Bangkok,The Comedy Joint Khaosan and Eastcoast Music Association. His work has been featured by commercial entities like EMI Canada (*In The Groove Compilation*), MuchVibe, and American Airlines, to name a few. With 13 years of touring experience, his musical travels have spanned Latin America, Europe, Asia, and North America, with recent performances in Spain, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Guatemala, the US, and Thailand. THE BRAND In 2012, Dame Rashem Alexander began developing a boutique fashion brand, originally called Wild Soul Boot Co., now rebranded as FUTURE VINTAGE XO. Specializing in one-of-a-kind shoes and bags, the brand started as an exclusive offering for fans and followers and has since evolved into much more. THE FASHION FUTURE VINTAGE XO’s leather apparel is handmade in Guatemala, with ethically sourced materials from around the world. Productions are scaled for exclusive events and international pop-ups, with this year’s offerings planned for Toronto, Canada; Zurich, Switzerland; and Bangkok, Thailand. The brand’s foundation lies in over a decade of collaboration with the local artisan community in Guatemala, focusing on ethical fabrication and fair trade. Proceeds from the brand have supported food relief programs for local families during holidays and natural disasters.
